In the interest of protecting the health of our community, staff, and volunteers, we have decided to suspend Attain Housing’s Community Supper program until further notice. We have been trying a meals to-go program for a couple weeks and are very grateful to the volunteers who went above and beyond to make this happen. The number of guests taking advantage of these meals had dropped significantly and last week we only had 10 individuals who came by. We would like to thank Holy Spirit Lutheran Church for being incredible community partners and allowing us to adjust our supper service to cope with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, but we feel we’ve reached the point where the risk to the local community outweighs the benefits.
We regret having to make this decision and realize this might have an impact on a few who rely on and anticipate this weekly meal. We want to offer a few other resources on the Eastside that might fill this gap. Please see below for information:
