The COVID-19 pandemic, its economic impacts, and the nationwide protests against systemic inequality have made 2020 a year like no other. Our country and community may never be the same in many ways, some for better and some for worse. One thing that remains unchanged is Attain Housing’s commitment to providing housing and case management services to vulnerable homeless families. In order to stay true to our commitment, we need your help this fall.
Since it is unclear when we will be able to safely gather in large groups again, we are transitioning our Fall Luncheon event to a week of giving (September 16 – 23) featuring a live virtual event on the evening of Friday, September 18. The event will feature a keynote presentation, informative videos, and a raise the paddle session to help us reach our fundraising goal of $180,000
It’s vital that we reach our goal so that we can continue serving vulnerable homeless families, like the one pictured above. Parents Kari, Mathew, and their 3 children, recently moved into permanent housing after spending nearly 2 years in our transitional housing program. You may recall their story from our 2018 Fall Luncheon video. Kari and Mathew’s journey from living in their car to stability and self-sufficiency is just one example of the success stories that donations like yours make happen. We need your help this Fall to make sure we can continue to help families like this one recover from the trauma of homelessness and give their children the healthy living environment they deserve.
Mark down September 18 on your calendars and stay tuned for more details!
