Over the past few days, we have met some pretty cool people who have stopped by to deliver presents for the families we serve through our Holiday Adopt-A-Family program.
We’ve received 64 beautiful stockings ($25 each!), donated by the Coast Guard Holiday Stockings for Homeless Children, filled with gifts and love from a number of volunteers all over the Puget Sound area. Thank you, Coast Guard!
Another thank you goes to Booboo Barkery & Boutique for organizing a Giving Tree with lots of local businesses in downtown Kirkland in support of our Adopt-a-Family program. Thank you, Simplicity Decor, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty-Kirkland Office, Ragamoffyn’s, The Grape Choice, and all the other businesses for bringing joy to many families in our community.
Thank you also to Xtreme Consulting Group-Kirkland for spreading holiday cheer to two families by collecting presents at their offices for the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program.
